Simple AI Living (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by Simple AI Living (contact: blog@simpleailiving.com). This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We do not sell your data. We do not serve advertising.
What data we collect
Newsletter subscribers. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. We use this solely to send you the Simple AI Living newsletter. We use a third-party email service provider (ESP) to deliver emails. We do not share your email address with any other third party.
Contact form submissions. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the message you send. We use this to respond to your enquiry. We do not store contact form submissions in a marketing database.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics collects anonymised data about pages visited, time on site, and approximate geographic location. We do not enable Google Signals or any Google Ads integration. You can opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Cookies. We use the following cookies: a first-party session cookie to remember your cookie consent preference, and Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid) to collect anonymised usage data. We do not use advertising cookies or track you across other websites.
Affiliate relationships
Some links on this site are affiliate links, primarily to Amazon Associates (UK and US). If you purchase a product through an affiliate link, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial recommendations. We only link to products we have personally tested or thoroughly researched. Every article that contains affiliate links includes a disclosure at the top.
Your rights (UK and EU)
Under UK GDPR and the EU GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to request its deletion, to object to its processing, and to request its correction. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at blog@simpleailiving.com. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.
Data retention
Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Contact form data is deleted within 90 days of your enquiry being resolved. Analytics data is retained for 14 months (Google Analytics default).
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data: Google Analytics (analytics), Google Fonts (typography, loaded from Google servers), Amazon Associates (affiliate tracking). Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy.
